2026 National Day of Prayer
Our community gathered at Horizon Church for a morning of worship, reflection, and fellowship on the National Day of Prayer. Mike Kuypers served as Master of Ceremonies, the MLK Community Choir led worship, and we prayed together over the needs of San Diego County — our neighbors, our families, and our future. A youth-led prayer segment was a quiet highlight of the morning.
We were grateful to hear from Commander Mike Kuypers (USN, ret.), Pastor Ken Anderson of the MLK Community Choir San Diego, Rod Gilbert of Santa Fe Christian, former San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer, and Pastor Bob Botsford of Horizon Church. The morning closed with a benediction and a renewed sense that prayer draws a community closer together.
